Jazzy Girls

I designed four jazz dancers based on jazz. I made the characters exaggerate by using the characteristics of jazz with irregular rhythms.

재즈를 바탕으로 4명의 재즈 댄서들을 디자인했다. 불규칙한 리듬을 가진 재즈의 특성을 이용해 캐릭터들도 과장되게 만들었다.

Love, Love, Love

A character inspired by Epik High's song 'Love, Love, Love'. I used Helena Bonham Carter's complex yet colorful layered style and Amy Winehouse's pulled-up hairstyle.

에픽하이의 'Love, Love, Love' 라는 노래에 영감을 받아 만든 캐릭터. 헬레나 본햄 카터의 복잡하면서도 화려한 레이어드 스타일과 에이미 와인하우스의 추켜올린 머리 스타일을 사용했다.

Disco Man

A character designed to sound intense, deep, and bouncy disco music. In particular, it imitated the characteristics of disco in the 80s.

강렬하고 진한, 통통 튀는 느낌의 디스코 음악에 맞춰 디자인한 캐릭터. 특히 80년대 디스코의 특성을 본땄다.

Wanted

Characters Inspired by the soundtrack of the movie Sherlock Holmes. In the movie, Sherlock Holmes is famous for his physical abilities and often attacks opponents. At this point, I thought the opponents's body condition would not be good, this was the start to imagine these characters.They were designed by utilizing the characteristics of each role in the organization.

영화 '셜록 홈즈'의 사운드트랙에 영감을 받은 캐릭터들. 영화에서 셜록 홈즈는 몸을 잘 쓰기로 유명한데, 이렇게 홈즈에게 공격을 받은 상대들은 몸이 성하지 않을 거라는 생각에서 캐릭터 구상이 시작되었다. 조직에서 각 역할마다의 특성을 살려 디자인했다.

Way Down Hadestown

OST from the musical 'Hadestown'. I don't know the content of the musical, but I thought the song's atmosphere was interesting. In a rich-get-richer, poor-get-richer society, I felt a greedy ruler among the underground people. I designed this powerful underground leader who made life more difficult in a poor underground world, but cannot easily attack.

뮤지컬 '하데스타운'의 ost. 뮤지컬의 내용은 전혀 알지 못하지만 노래의 분위기가 재밌다 생각했다. 부익부 빈익빈 사회에서 지하 층 사람들 사이에서의 탐욕스러운 지배자가 있는 느낌을 받았다. 살기 힘든 지하 세상에서 이 지배자 때문에 더 삶이 힘들어졌지만, 쉽사리 공격할 수 없는 강력한 지하의 리더를 디자인했다.

from Basic

It depicts the process from the 'shape', which is the basis of the form, to the emergence of the human form. The characters also began with a basic character named BASIC, and various characters by the meaning of the word were created.

형태의 기본인 '도형'에서부터 사람의 형태가 나오기까지의 과정을 그렸다. 캐릭터 또한 basic이라는 이름의 기본 캐릭터에서 시작해, 단어의 의미별 캐릭터들을 다양하게 만들었다.

Trio

Characters made of my best friends. The moments of friendship that we met in the neighborhood and have been together for a long time so far are drawn with the concept of our own unique pajamas.

나의 가장 친한 친구들로 만든 캐릭터들. 동네에서 만나 지금까지 오랜 시간을 함께 지내며 있었던 우정의 순간들을 각자의 개성 넘치는 파자마를 컨셉으로 해 그렸다.

Go to Deep

After creating the character inspired by The Animals' The House of the Rising Sun, a simple story was created.
When I was listening to the song. I felt like I was exploring the unknown where nothing was known, so I thought of a character named David, who looked cautious, and a character named Charlie, who always got into a lot of trouble, but was very active and fearless. Since then, two completely different appearances have been completed, and the story of what will happen if the two with different tendencies go to the unknown world came to mind.

The Animals의 'The House of the Rising Sun'에 영감을 받아 캐릭터를 만든 후 간단한 스토리가 제작되었다. 노래를 들을 때. 아무것도 알 수 없는 미지의 곳을 탐험하는 느낌을 받아 신중해 보이는 David라는 캐릭터와 다소 사고를 많이 치지만 행동력이 강하고 겁이 없는 Charlie라는 캐릭터를 떠올렸다. 이후 완전히 다른 겉모습의 둘이 완성 되었고, 성향까지 다른 둘이 '미지의 세계로 가면 어떤 일이 벌어질까?' 라는 이야기가 떠올랐다.
